Read here how CLMTexfinity successfully made an online installation for a complete laundry in South Korea, because due to the Corona crisis, sending installation engineers was not an option.
Difficult times sometimes require inventive solutions.
In March, CLMTexfinity had planned to install a complete laundry in South Korea with 2 complete tunnel batch washer systems, 2 ironing lines, towel folders, etc. That was, until Corona virus came along. Very soon, it was clear that sending technicians to South Korea, was not going to be an option. Booking a flight was virtually impossible and incoming visitors had to enter 2 weeks of quarantaine … . Therefore, and in close cooperation with the customer, we decided to complete the installation with local technicians and in close follow up via our online platform.
For the mechanical installation and electronic connection, clear instructions were sent, together with electrical connection schemes. The local people did a great job and very soon the machines were installed and connected. That was the easy part … . Then the testing and debugging phase started. Although the initial communication was difficult because of the language barrier, very soon a smooth process was found of testing, feedback and corrective measures. Thanks to the joined efforts from our local partner, and the CLMTexfinity technical team, the installation finished on time, and the customer could start his new laundry as foreseen.
